The BBW Pornucopia Interview: Bella Bendz



It's time for another BBW Pornucopia interview. This time, we're going to talk to the lovely, the sultry Bella Bendz. Winner of the 2013 BBW FanFest Plumper of the Year, this sexy brunette never fails to draw my attention when she's on screen. I just had to learn a bit more about her.

How did you get into the business? What led you into doing this, and what was your entry point (print modeling, straight into video, web modeling)?

 

I got started in the industry by pushing my limits each and every time I posed for the camera. I started out by just having my cousin take a few pictures of me dressed up, which she posted online. Photographers began asking her how to get in contact with me so they could work with me for their portfolios. Each time I just stepped a little bit closer to the adult entertainment field. Going from beauty shots to fashion to lingerie to implied nudes to full nudes and eventually porn. I continue to do that to this day. I like pushing my limits and seeing just how far I am willing to let myself go.

Was it a difficult decision, deciding the enter the industry? Do you have any regrets about choosing this path?

 

When I was asked to do a shoot with another model (which was my entry into the industry) I really didn't think twice about it. It just seemed natural. I felt completely at ease. I haven't had any regrets so far. I think that's what makes it so much fun for me to do this. I'm proud of everything that I've done even if it wasn't that good only because it helps me improve on my performance!
 

If you could change one thing about the industry (either overall, or specifically with regards to the BBW side of things), what would it be?

 

The thing I would change is the judgment between performers. Mainstream performers, Fetish performers, BBW performers, TS performers, Gay performers. We are all in this same field of work, we just cater to different audiences within it. I'm extremely open minded to what people do and I tend to be a little bothered by the lack of support from across the board. How can anyone say that anyone else is less substantial than another just because they aren't doing the same thing they do? Hopefully that makes sense.
 

What is your definition of a fan? What obligations do fans have in supporting performers/the industry overall?

 

To me a fan is someone that supports you in all that you do. If you choose to try something new they are there to support you even if it's not particularly their favorite thing. I don't think it's an obligation for a fan to purchase all of your work but I do feel that it is an obligation of a fan not to steal your work. I like when fans let me know when someone is posting my stuff for free so that I can take care of it. If only more people were that honest.
 

If you could offer some words of advice to those trying to break into the industry, what would they be?

 

Attitude is everything. Well in my opinion it is. Being rude is not the best way to get work. Networking and leaving a good impression upon people is going to get you far (well I hope lol I'm still trying to make a name for myself). Also don't expect others to do the work for you. Research companies. Ask people for advice. Not everyone is willing to help you but there just might be a few that are. People always ask me if I can get them into porn. The answer is no. I am not an agent. However I can tell you how I got into working with companies as it's the only way I know how to help you.

Interpret this question how you want, but what excites you? What makes you feel good inside?

 

Things that excite me and make me feel good inside. Hmmmm there is always one question that you have to think about lol. Really it's the little things that excite me. An old cartoon that I haven't seen since I was a little girl, moments with my friends that only we will ever understand, when a stranger gives me a genuine compliment. Simple pleasures are what get me.

 

Now if you mean in sexual terms it would have to be warm breath on my neck, a gentle caress over my ass to my lower back, then a firm hand grabbing my neck and squeezing ever so gently as lips press against mine. Oh the chills I get thinking about it!!! What a thrill!
 

What are your hobbies outside of work? How do you like to unwind?

 

My hobbies outside of work are simple. I love to camp and fish. It's so relaxing to go out and cast your line and get some sun while reading a good book. My family and I love to do at least semi annual camping trips where it's just us, beer and the outdoors lol. Such a good time.
 

Where do you see yourself in 3-5 years? Still performing? Serving as a producer/director? Being an agent? Advocacy? Or outside of the industry?

 

In 3-5 years I would like to still be performing but I would also like to be behind the scenes. I have a passion for makeup and would love to start doing makeup on set. I think it would be fun to be behind the camera for once!
 

How would you like to be remembered?

I would like to be remembered as someone who always had fun with what they did. I don't want people to think I didn't enjoy what I've done. I don't think I could continue doing this if I didn't enjoy it!
